favafoyo Posted: 07/19/07 19:10:51	Tags : None I've decided that for fun, I will go on record with my predictions for what will go down in book 7 of the harry potter series - be warned, this blog entry WILL contain spoilers if you haven't read the first six books. ... ...keep going! Deaths Severus Snape - he's gonna die. JKR has to kill off some major characters to make the book as dramatic as possible, without ripping out the hearts of readers everywhere and stamping them to bits. there are quite a few Snape fans out there (for some reason) that will be struck by his death - but not everyone will be. which makes him perfect for getting the axe! Voldemort - no one will see this coming. not. Peter Pettigrew - yes, Wormtail will certainly die. he has that little life debt, remember? I think we might take someone else down with him as well, on the way out. he was also most likely a Gryffindor, because I don't see James, Sirius and Remus becoming good friends with someone outside of their house - and the sorting hat does not make mistakes. Which means, deep down, Wormtail is brave and loyal, even though until now he has shown neither of those qualities in any way at all. I think these characteristics will come out in his final moments, and at that time he will act out his life debt to Harry... A friend of Harry's (his age) - I don't know which, but I think a student his age will be getting the cut. Not Ginny, but Luna is a possibility, as is someone like Seamus or Dean. I don't think they would be involved in any sort of combat when the death occurs but maybe a murder? Bellatrix Lestrange - Neville will kill her. or she will die as a result of injuries he gives her. One Weasley - At least one. There are tons of them. There is no way they can all possibly surive. Hopefully Charlie or Bill, but I think maybe Arthur... Harry, Ron and Hermione will not die, but everyone else is at risk. Highest risks are outlined above. Plot - RAB is regulus. This is almost certain. He is dead. - The locket will be in the house of Black, or in Kreacher's possession. Harry may need Kreacher's help to find where he put it, however. - Nagini will be a horcrux, and will be one of the easier ones to destroy. Many people don't buy this, but come on - how is he suppose to find and destroy 4 horcruxes in one book? He needs an easy one. That leaves the cup and the mystery artifact that could be something of Ravenclaw's (I'm guessing it is). I think the mystery artifact will be Rowena's wand, or her broomstick. - Harry will have some of the more trusted members of the Order help him at points, but will not reveal the horcrux secret to them.
